Compared to stainless steel, CARBON steel has less resistance to corrosion, but if correctly assembled and properly insulated it meets all the requirements necessary for closed-circuit systems such as COMPRESSED AIRFIRE EXTINGUISHINGHEATING, and SOLAR THERMAL.
